Reason 1) We install systems so they can be easily serviced in the future. We install isolation valves on all circulating pumps. We do not install unions on boiler systems as they eventually will leak and cause additional problems. We install zone controllers to keep the wiring clean an neat. We install an isolation valve and a purge valve on each expansion tank to faciliate checking the tank and also to make it easy to change the tank when the bladder fails. We install isolation valves on either side of a zone valve to facilitate removal and replacement of the valve. We install factory made manifolds with flow indicators that help for troubleshooting and balancing. We install necessary purge valves for charging the system.

Reason 2) We install Air Separators to eliminate the microbubbles in the system and help keep the system quiet.

Reason 3) On systems with glycol, we install Automatic Glycol Feeders to ensure that the correct glycol levels are kept in the system, the house doesn’t flood if there is a leak, and to eliminate a backflow device that requires annual testing.

Reason 4) We install a Pressure Switch on every system. In the event that the pressure in the closed loop system drops below 5 psi, the pressure switch shuts off the power to the boiler and the pumps. This keeps the boiler from turning into a time bomb, and it prevents the pumps from burning up from running dry.
