About D&D Plumbing
Description:
For more than 30 years, D&D Plumbing has specialized in plumbing and heating work in the residential, commercial, and industrial fields. In addition, D&D has a service department for remodels, repair, and service work. As a plumbing and mechanical contractor licensed in California and Nevada, D&D acts as a subcontractor and prime contractor on design build projects and plan and specification jobs.
History and Family Tradition:
In 1978, D&D Plumbing was established by brothers Dale, Dalton, and Jerry Lowery as a full service plumbing shop. In the early 1980’s, D&D expanded their services to include hydronic heating, snowmelt systems, steam boilers, and solar systems. Through their hard work and honesty the Lowery brothers established the company as one of the premiere Mechanical firms in northern Nevada.
In 1994, D&D hired Dale’s son, Nathan Lowery. Nathan quickly picked up the plumbing trade and established himself as a savvy boiler and heating technician. In 2002, D&D hired Waylon Lowery, Dalton’s son, as a Professional Mechanical Engineer who is licensed in California and Nevada. Waylon’s addition to the company enabled D&D to expand their business into design build projects to better serve their clients.
Employees and Company Commitment:
D&D has a highly trained staff with licensed professional technicians who offer a broad range of services. D&D is dedicated to training and is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship Program. D&D pays for Apprentices to attend classes for four years, and D&D also has several active instructors, including owner Dale Lowery. The family owned and operated company is based on quality service, dependable products, and reasonable pricing. D&D’s owners and employees are committed to doing a job right.
